Detroit police: Stolen car crashes into SUV, killing 1 and injuring 3

A stolen vehicle hit an SUV, killing the driver and injuring three minors Saturday afternoon, Detroit police said.
A red Dodge Challenger, with two males in the car, hit a black Trailblazer in the area of Chalmers and Seymour around 4:45 p.m., according to Detroit police. The crash killed the 33-year-old female driver. Three minors – occupants of the Trailblazer – were injured and taken to a hospital.
They are are in stable condition, police said.


Associated Press reports the children are ages 12, 5 and 5.
A weapon was found in the Dodge Challenger and two males were arrested, police said.


The men were hospitalized for injuries that were not considered life threatening, AP also reported.
