STEPHEN Donnelly, the Minister for Health, has confirmed a €10 million funding package for palliative care. The once-off funding is in response to challenges posed by Covid-19. The funding may be used for improvements to premises, facilities and ICT systems. It may also be used for training programmes, eduction and tele health platforms.
