Michigan has lost 7 more people to the novel coronavirus and 982 more people tested positive for COVID-19, according to Friday’s update from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
The state’s totals are now 6,526 confirmed deaths and 105,377 confirmed cases.
Michigan has a fatality rate of 6.2% among known cases.
The state has a positivity rate of 3.55%, reporting 1,008 out of 28,424 diagnostic test results returned Thursday were positive.

The state has reported 272 probable COVID-19 deaths and 10,918 probable cases.
The probable cases combined with the confirmed cases make for a cumulative total of 6,798 deaths and 116,295 cases.
